Hands-on instruction with real CWA threats using integrated training aids.
Innovative solutions for CBRNe X-ray training with our all metal chemical projectiles. These projectiles can be filled with liquid, and are ideal for X-ray training. Featuring Three distinct 122mm varieties, they offer versatility for CBRNe training needs, such as detection training and decontamination training when combined with our CWA simulants. With removable burst tubes and fuzes, they are easily decontaminated for repeated use.
Discover realism for military CBRNe training through Inert Products’ advanced leaking fuze projectiles. Our comprehensive range includes inert chemical 155mm VX, 107mm chemical projectiles, and various UXO 105mm projectiles. Designed to be filled with liquid, these projectiles facilitate training scenarios essential for honing leak, seal, and pack techniques vital for military CBRNe personnel. These projectiles also work well with our CWA simulants.
Inert Products replica CBRNe IEDs featuring functional dispersal systems for lifelike simulations. Also equipped with inert explosives and det cord, these tools enable threat detection training while offering a variety of improvised configurations and switch options. Adaptable for scenario-based exercises, trainers can fill the containers with non-hazardous liquids to activate the dispersal device to prepare your team for real-world challenges.
Our CWA simulants are indistinguishable from actual chemicals, ensuring seamless training. Compatible with detection devices like Ion Mobility Spectrometers, Flame Spectrometers, and detection paper. This set includes GB, HD, and VX simulants, all neatly packaged in 250ml bottles. The kit also includes three 20ml dropper bottles (empty), UV flashlight, latex gloves, USB drive with safety data, and brush applicators.
Inert Products offers Simulated blasts, flash, Smoke, and chemical scent machines for scenario-based training. These non-pyro training tools are designed with safety at the forefront. You can now mix and match smoke, explosion, and scent effects, all from a simple controller. Scent examples include, chlorine gas lewisite, phosgene, sarin/tabun, mustard gas, and many more!
All replica Laboratories come equipped with rugged storage cases, and include manuals for easy assembly. We also offer training Aids for scenario-based training, such as moulage kits, and CBRNe effects simulators for smoke and scents to take your training to the next level! Contact us today for availability in your area.
This moulage kit offers realistic trauma and CBRNe injury effects for training, including temporary tattoos and stick-on wounds for burns, blisters, bullet wounds, chemical exposures, and smallpox. It features prosthetic limb amputations, with blood, mucus, powders, paints, and tools to customize injuries for IED, sepsis, and other scenarios.
Live Agent Training
Live Agent Training Facility
The Hiddingen Test Center (HTC) is a privately-owned Schedule 1 facility with specialized government licenses to conduct research, training and testing with Schedule 1 chemicals, that includes the most commonly known chemical warfare agents. Historically, the site was an old NATO communications center that has since been decommissioned. The Hiddingen Test Center spans over 55,000 sqm with several buildings.
The facility is home to several private enterprises, and in addition, the HTC houses the German National Information Center for Chemical Weapons, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting chemical weapons safety and awareness. Together, our entities offer unparalleled expertise in the field of CBRN.
Outside Training Area: The outside training area of the HTC is specifically designed for realistic CBRN training scenarios. Our experienced instructors lead specialized training using real chemical warfare agents. This outside training area is secured with a fenced perimeter and includes a range of safety installations such as a respirator challenge room, custom-made decontamination container, and a fully equipped medical station.
Laboratories: The HTC has 3 fully equipped chemical laboratories dedicated for analytical work, testing of equipment and training of personnel with live agents.
Bunker Systems: There are two bunker systems at the HTC. One of them can currently be used for training of a variety of realistic CBRN training scenarios.
Live Agent Training Courses and Support
Safety & Medical Support: The Hiddingen Test Center has state-of-the art safety and medical support. There is a fully equipped clinic, as well as on-site medical team during any hazardous substance training or testing activities. In the unlikely event of an incident or ill- health our dedicated medical team provides immediate qualified emergency medical care to affected personnel.
Capacity of students: The capacity of students depends on the type of training. Live Agent activities is advisable to limit the group to 12 participants.
Types of chemical agents used for training: The Hiddingen Test Center is a schedule 1 facility, with licenses to conduct research, training and testing with Schedule 1 chemicals. Our clients usually opt for the most common chemical warfare agents, such as: mustard, lewisite, sarin and VX. We can also use other CWAs or toxic chemicals, as per client’s requirements.
All our Live Agent Training courses are designed to meet specific client requirements and are conducted exclusively at the Hazardous Training Center (HTC). The first course, Live Agent Training – Introduction, provides hands-on experience with real chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and integrates training aids to build a strong foundation in CWA recognition, safe handling, detection, and identification. The second course, Live Agent Training – Advanced Sampling (Week 2), expands on these skills through advanced CWA environmental sampling and analysis. Using provided training materials and aids, students perform complex exercises in realistic laboratory and bunker settings to master advanced sampling techniques under live-agent conditions.
Instructor‑ready CBRNe training delivered in rugged, deployable cases for fast setup and full‑spectrum, scenario‑based exercises. The kit features realistic inert munitions, functional IED simulators, chemical agent simulants, and sensory effects including smoke, sound, visual cues, and non‑toxic odorants to create high‑fidelity, immersive training.
